This week you will continue to work on your Editorial Rough Draft on a chosen topic from the list of 8. Once you have finished with the rough draft, you will then read through and edit based on what you think needs to be changed. After you have edited it the first time on your own, you will then type a rough draft in Tahoma, 12 point font in Microsoft Word.
After you have typed, saved and printed their rough draft, they will have 3 peers read your editorial (one being an editor or Mrs. S) for mistakes. Once all mistakes are found, then you will open your saved copy and go back and work on your rewrite.
Once your rewrite is complete, then you will go to Google and find 2-3 graphics to go in their story at key points. Last of all, we will format their story to go into a tri-fold brochure in Publisher. Once their tri-fold brochure is correctly formatted, you will print it out to hang on the bulletin board in the classroom.
