I love your flippables, my son is in the 8th grade, a virtual student in Florida, I try to find him different resources to use since his are limited. I love to see these in use and they help! Is there anyway to make your pictures bigger and if you don't mind us using them too. He has contact w/ his Virtual teacher 1x week, please and thanks Ginny, mom
How do you present your Instruction? Do you use a smart board or power point? When you present do you walk the students through filling in their ISN ? Using the ISN is new this year for me. I am still trying to figure out the best way to give instruction and complete the ISN page.
For my instruction I do a lot of direct instruction with interaction from my students. When I present my lesson, I already have my notebook completed for the lesson and use post-it notes and flags to cover answers and what not that I don't want students to see before-hand. We do use my document camera for the students to see the INB more accurately and I will walk around while are discussing. I encourage open dialogue in my class as I am able to quickly determine my student's strengths and weaknesses. We also do an exit ticket at least twice a week. I have posted on my personal blog about the "Post It, Prove It" strategy that I use and that can be found at http://www.liveteachcreate.com/post-it-prove-it-an-exit-ticket-strategy/
