Journal: Creative Free Write in the first section of your spiral. At least 7 sentences. I will be taking a journal grade next week. :)
Assignment:
Today, you will use your outline and 5WH that you have created to start writing your story. I want you to focus on a STRONG introduction. An introduction is when you GRAB your reader. You want to make it interesting so they will continue to read. Read the steps to follow here.
Write out your introduction the third section of your spiral. Title it Article #1 Intro. You will be continuing to add on this next week. Your introducation should be 3-4 sentences. Skip lines when writing in your spiral so that your table partners can edit easily.
When you and your table partners have finished your introduction, swap across the table and read each others. Go through and read it. What is missing? What needs to be fixed? Make edits on the lines underneath that will help them develop their story into a GREAT ARTICLE!
